I think this will my biggest side job ever. My previous place I used to work for asked me whether I want to work as one of their artist's publicist. Just one time project. They will fly me to Seoul, Korea, to interview the artist. I am actually surprised with the offer (remembering why I resign from there) but of course very thankful. They will cover all the flight, hotel, airport tax, visa application arrangement and even give me pocket money. So, it feels like a little vacation without any cost involved. Finger crossed that all the writing I distribute to tons of magazines will give another income. ;) Yesss, I know I shouldn't be greedy about this.

I am a little bit concerned as I don't have any spare leave. I don't know any excuses so I decided I will be using sick excuses to cover up for my will be 3 days absents.
I know this will be the shortest Korea trip I ever took. I wish I could fly tomorrow so that I can catch up Rain concert and go to Busan for a while - before the main work start - to check out Pusan Film Fest which is held starting yesterday to Oct 16th. I saw the list of actors coming to PIFF, my stomach flutters. Josh Harnett, Lee Byung Hun, Takuya Kimura, Joseph Chang & Tatsuya Fujiwara. Not to mention the Hallyu Stars.... Sigh...
But I guess I can't be a greedy person. As much as I want to fulfill all my kpop fandom, I guess for this trip it's difficult. I decided that if I want to fulfill my fandom it should be in that brief period of time I will be there and it should be in Seoul.
With my limited time, the language barrier, and don't know where to go or look for the acccess, I don't know... As I said again, it's going to be difficult. Nevertheless, I have to try. It it doesn't work out, I can say hey at least I've tried. ;D
So, last week I have compiled all the artist management address and phone number, just in case, I still have time to visit and see their office.
What I have been tried so far is calling Kim Bum's agency. But I got hang up as the man on the phone can't speak english. Major bumb! Then, I called J.Tune but the number has changed. OMG! So, you can see - it's a bit frustrating. Then, Starhaus management, Lee Min Ho's agency. I guess the third's the charm. Starhaus has someone who can speak english.
I have been talking to this girl who is very helpful. Her name is Miss Catherine. She's like the bridge between me and the pr manager. She's given me the email contact and request me to write what would be my request. Of course, I'm requesting acceess for LMH interview. Tomorrow will be my last chance calling the office again. Today, I've sent all the clippings and wrote a very long long email to explain what they need to know. Fingers crossed everything is okay. It will be a yes or no tomorrow, I guess.
Friday
As I will be flying on Monday, I hope I can settle everything before. Just called today. They still can't decide. They promised to give answer on Monday. So, finger crossed.
Why I choose these three again. Easy! Kim Bum & Lee Min Ho is the new actor in Boys Over Flower serial. Kim Joon is not an option as he's - sadly to say - the least favorite of the Flower Boys. Hyun Joong, gosh, as much as I want to try. Based on my previous experiences taking care boy band, with the very limited time I've got, it definitely be a pain! The group is travelling and busy promoting/preparing their new album. SS501's album is not released in Indonesia. And just to request Hyun Joong - with their busy schedule to release the album - I'm not sure the mgmt will approve with me requestin interview to 1 person only. The Korean mgmt office and their label probably think why we have to bother request from a country that not even given them any profit yet. ;( Yeah, you might be thinking it can be applied to the 2 actors. But to my defend, their actors. They don't have albums and their works are released through major station television. So, in a way, I feel I have much hope in these two. As for Rain, his albums are released, his movie also and there's one movie coming on the way.

How to get to SM Office - From Soompi
im in korea right now and saw the SM building
i thought it'd be all flashy and say SM everywhere but it really is just a yellow building lol
if u take the subway to "Apgujeong" and exit out of #3 and take bus number 143 or 240 you can see thousands of girls outside of that yellow building just hanging around for no reason -___- prob. trying to get scouted or something hahahha
they give you directions on how to get there too.
..using public transport,
- Get off at Cheong-Dam station subway no.7 and go to exit no.9
walk away to Apgujeong(15min) or take the bus no.41 and then get off at the Cheong-Dam elementry school bus stop.You can see the yellow building
(SM entertainment) on the way to Galleria Department Store, between Kia-motors and Kang Suk-Hei building
- Get off at Apgujeong station subway no.3 and go to exit no.2
walk away to Galleria Department Store(20min)
or take the bus no.41, 143, 362, 4418 and then get off at the Cheong-Dam elementry school bus stop. You can see the yellow building(SM entertainment) on the way to Galleria Department Store, between Kia-motors and Kang Suk-Hei building
